Antiques with certificate of authenticity
All our antiques are guaranteed to be unique and of the period declared. All objects of particular importance are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with description, photo, dimensions, age, origin, amount of restoration, elements replaced, etc…
Restoration respectful of the objects
The restorations are guaranteed during a minimum of 2 years. They are always in accordance with the standards generally admitted by professional associations (percentage authorised of recently added materials: gothic furniture, renaissance, Louis XIII: max.30% - Baroque, Louis XIV:25% - Louis XV, Louis XVI: 20% - Louis-Philippe (Biedermeier) 10%). For tables, the extension systems are original. Any eventual alterations are clearly described in the certificate of authenticity, etc…
Faithful and satisfied clients
A wide circle of European customers, thanks to the proximity of Gstaad, have learnt to trust our gallery which also counts important overseas clients (for example: a State governor, an ambassador and senators in the USA…)
Authentic or reimbursed
If an important difference between the description and the reality of an object received is observed by a recognised Swiss expert (for example: new material exceeding the standard use – important error in the date etc…) Antiquités et Art Populaire Le Foyer agrees to take back the object in question at cost price, or to find some financial arrangement within a period of 2 years..
